Everest Base Camp Trek: Day 12, Cho La Pass to gokyo.

It was a cold but a fresh morning, I curl out from my blanket, still half in my clothing from yesterday, the night was too cold to change into something clean, I slide into my pants trying not to move too much hoping that the cold won't notice that I woke.
It was still dark, I thank Hashem for letting me enjoy my Neshama another day,
It is 3:34am
Boots, jacket, pum-pum hat, bathroom, brush teeth, gloves, breakfast.
Breakfast was plane rice leftover from last nights super, it was partially ice from the unforgiving cold,
I walk out side to greet the beautiful night stars who are still relaxing and overlooking the thin layer of snowflakes that fell not long before.
Next to the small stone wall lodge with a thin metal roof held down by a few rocks, is a high peak hiding in the morning clouds, I was looking at its wonderful white coat like it's trying to warm up from the long night.
It is 5:12am, and time to throw my backpack on and leave for a long and hard 9-hour hike over the Cho-la pass, down to Dragnag, over the Glacier, up to Gokyo, witch sits 15,977.69 feet high where I will settle for night 13 of my journey.

This picture was taken on the high point of the Cho-la pass (17,718,42 ft) around 8:30am 5/15/2014.
Putting Tefilen, It was truly a wonderful feeling.

May I remember Hashems beautiful creation!
